Kellie Martin, she is an American actor and director of films, is most well-known for her role for her role as Christy Huddleston on the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the drama about families Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Her other roles of note include the lead role in The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin was the daughter of an employee of a department store and a kindergarten instructor. She began acting in the age of seven when her Aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's household, assisted Martin to be a guest star on the TV show Father Murphy. After graduating from Yale University she began to take acting seriously with roles that she was able to land on the small and large screen. Martin was also an artist and photographer. Martin is the mom of two, and also the official spokesperson for Lupus. After her sister's tragic death at the age of 19 Martin has been trying to raise awareness about Lupus and its symptoms.
